About the Journal

Fortiori Law Journal (FLJ) is a distinguished law journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta (UCY), first launched in January 2021. The name "Fortiori" is derived from the legal term "a fortiori," which signifies an argument that holds even greater strength. In Latin, "a fortiori" literally translates to "from the stronger," reflecting FLJ's commitment to publishing robust and compelling academic findings across various fields of legal study. FLJ seeks to provide a platform for rigorous academic discourse, offering insights and analyses that resonate with both national and international legal communities. The journal welcomes contributions from diverse legal fields, aiming to enrich the understanding and application of law through scholarly works of the highest calibre.
