Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism Policy Authors submitting to Fortiori Law Journal (FLJ) must ensure that their manuscripts are free from plagiarism. It is the author's responsibility to use plagiarism detection tools to check their work before submission. Before publication, FLJ will recheck the manuscript using the Turnitin detection tool, with a maximum allowable similarity index of 30%. Note for Authors FLJ assesses each instance of plagiarism according to its policies. If plagiarism is detected at any stage—whether during initial submission, peer review, editing, or proofing—the author will be notified and asked to revise the text or properly quote and cite the original sources. If extensive plagiarism is found (i.e., 30% or more of the manuscript is plagiarized), the article may be rejected, and the author's institution or employer will be informed. Authors are strongly advised to thoroughly check their manuscripts for plagiarism before submission. We recommend using a plagiarism checker as a preliminary measure, though it is not entirely foolproof. Plagiarism Declaration All authors submitting to FLJ are required to complete and submit a plagiarism-free statement along with their manuscript. This can be uploaded as an additional file in the submission system.
