About the Journal
Inspired by its name, LENSA HUKUM serves as an academic "lens" through which contemporary legal issues are examined, evaluated, and addressed from the perspective of Islamic law. The journal seeks to advance Islamic legal scholarship by promoting critical, analytical, and solution-oriented research that responds to the complexities of modern society and the challenges of legal development at the national, regional, and international levels.
Dedicated to disseminating original research, conceptual studies, and critical analyses on emerging issues in Islamic law, LENSA HUKUM: Journal of Islamic Law P-ISSN 1858-2818 is published biannually in June and December. The journal focuses on the theory and practice of Contemporary Islamic Law in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and the global context through multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches.
The journal welcomes contributions from scholars, researchers, legal practitioners, policymakers, and graduate students from relevant disciplines worldwide. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, with particular emphasis on academic quality, originality, novelty, methodological rigor, and relevance to contemporary issues in Islamic law.
