Peer Review Process

The selection process for the manuscripts to be published in Journal Competency of Business (JCOB) is carried out through a double-blind peer review by considering two main aspects, namely the relevance and contribution to management theory and practical development. The Editors would provide constructive feedback on the manuscript evaluation results to the authors. The manuscript review process takes 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the duration of the review by the Editors. Authors can confirm by email at [email protected] when there has been no confirmation from Journal Competency of Business (JCOB) for a long period. The stages of the review process applied in Journal Competency of Business (JCOB) are as follows:

1. Submission of manuscripts is only processed through the website https://jurnal.ucy.ac.id/index.php/JCoB

2. The submitted manuscripts would be checked to determine the compliance with Journal Competency of Business (JCOB) as author guidelines and template for submission, as well as whether the manuscripts are in line with the scope. After the necessary criteria are met, the next process is carried out, otherwise, the manuscripts will be recommended to be submitted to another journal.

3. The manuscripts would be reviewed by assigned the Editors to determine the contribution sufficiently to the development of science and practice in the field of business and management. The qualified manuscripts at this stage would be proceeded to peer reviewers.
