This research aims to know "the problems of eighth grade students in the
Arabic language and writing (the current study at the Institute of Taj Al-Salam
Bab Al-Salam Lankat") This research was conducted at the Institute of Modern
Taj Al-Salam The method in this research uses the qualitative method in the
form of data research (field research). One of the results of this research is
that the problem of learning the Arabic language at the Institute of Modern
Taj Al-Salam eighth grade was found to be linguistic and non-linguistic. At the
same time, the way to overcome these problems is to learn reading skills or
language skills, that is, the teacher applies the direct method and asks the
students to read aloud in their seats and move forward in front of the class
aloud so that all their friends can listen to what they read so that the teacher
and his friends know whether what they read is wrong or not, and the teacher
is asked after the students to read together, The teacher asks about the
meaning of the vocabulary or vocabulary in the text of the dialogue, the
teacher must stimulate students' learning and additional lessons are needed
in the Arabic language, so that students are motivated to understand, read,
write and memorize the vocabulary and the teacher uses educational game
methods such as reading the beginning and forming sentences.
