Abstract

The article discusses the importance of understanding the concept of Bela Negara (State Defense) and disseminating it to the younger generation in building awareness about the significance of safeguarding sovereignty, national unity, and facing various threats and challenges. The article emphasizes conceptual understanding, practical skills, and the Bela Negara attitude as key elements in shaping a resilient, responsible, and committed younger generation in ensuring national security and stability. Furthermore, the article highlights the significance of understanding that the concept of Bela Negara involves a sense of love for the homeland and cultural diversity. Recognizing and appreciating cultural diversity, local wisdom, and the values of Pancasila as the state ideology are crucial in maintaining national unity. Additionally, the article provides recommendations for enhancing the integration of Bela Negara education into school curricula and educational institutions, as well as the importance of specialized training and extracurricular activities that support the development of practical skills and the Bela Negara attitude among the younger generation.
